My willy wonka jr play

I am starting a play of Willy wonka and the chocolate factory at my school. I am playing as violet Beauregarde and I need help for outfit ideas. I don't want to dress up as the old or new versions of coolest from both wonka movies but I did get tights that had bubble gum all over (pictures of course,not real gum) and I still need an idea for the dress. The host of the play is my teacher and he is thinking about a purple dress. If you have any ideas please send a picture of the idea or tell me in the comment box/reply.
